READ WHAT THE COMMUNITY HAS TO SAY
Ashley Kervabon is a guardian angel to all musicians! She has provided an incredible atmosphere for artists to share their work and gain new fans along the way. I played the #WCW Showcase among an incredibly talented line-up of women. There was such diversity of style and craft among our bill and we truly bonded through the experience, empowering one another to continue our journey. After performing, I was able to connect with other local musicians as well as musical advocates like local radio and event promoters. This truly was the a connection point I needed as a new-in-town singer-composer and I am forever grateful for people like Ashley who would take the time and necessary steps to provide this opportunity. - Emily Aldridge, singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist.
I love being a part of #WomenCrush Music. It's not just a place where people can listen to up and coming songwriters in Portland -- it's also a place where female musicians can come together to share ideas and collaborate. - Sarah Lane (of The Late Great), singer & songwriter
#WomenCrush is a fantastic way for musicians to come together to hear amazing music created by women and network! It's a great way for people interested in local music to learn about new musicians and for venues to create opportunities for more diversity in the talent they showcase. - Jen Deale, singer/songwriter & vocalist in Santiam
#WomenCrush Music provides another platform for musicians to play paid gigs for captive audiences in a city that, though the nightlife and art scene has improved greatly here in San Jose, still needs that "oomph" and culture that shows bring to a community! I am SO happy #Womencrush is here! - Adira Sharkey, #WCM SJ Artist
My experience was nothing but positives. Interaction with Katie was affirming for a new artist like myself. It was wonderful to connect with the other artists performing and feel like we are growing as a body of female artists in a giant city. The audience was my favorite part of the evening - even though the space was quite cramped, they were attentive and most of all, open to the pieces of my heart that I shared. I felt connected in a way that is rare at shows. - #WomenCrushNYC Artist
I had a great time and truly felt supported by everyone there. Ashley did a great job communicating and supporting where needed. All the ladies showed up at the beginning and stayed until the end and it felt like a beautiful and collaborative effort. - #WomenCrushPDX Artist
