NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL HOSTS (ALL CITIES) (Chapter Leaders & Support) Do you want to be a part of this growing community of women-artists?! You will make connections that help you with your career, make new friends that are doing the same things you are doing & most importantly you'll be making a difference in your local scene! You will oversee a team of other volunteers & interns who are assisting you in booking, PR/Marketing and you will report to the creator of #WomenCrush.
Responsibilities will be: Booking the ongoing showcase series in your city Organizing the workshop series Being the point of contact for any sponsor/partner/press Bringing new ideas to the table for your city's chapter
Qualifications: Passion for music & supporting women in music Strong communication skills Ability to work well with a team Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks at once Knowledge of Google Drive, MS Office Previous PR/Marketing, Booking, Social Media experience (not required, but would be a plus!)
SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN (CAN BE REMOTE):Do you want to learn more about how to run social media for a growing organization? Do you want to make useful partnerships that will one day help you in your career? Last but not least, do you want to work with a team of amazing women who are located around the globe? Responsibilities: Working closely with the team to brainstorm social media content for #WomenCrush’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat pages. Scheduling content and keeping track of engagement Keeping track of various showcases in all cities and posting about them Qualifications: College student or recent graduate, preferably with a major in Music Business/Marketing. Basic knowledge of social media is a plus Ability to think out of the boxPassion for music Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks at once Knowledge of Google Drive, MS OfficeAbility to work with a team Strong communication skillsAbility to receive college credit Available 1-2 days per week
